**Req Number** 161116 FlexStaff is seeking a Temporary Accountant to assist in the accounting department for one of our clients, nonprofit agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with psychiatric and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and bookkeeping for 8 to 10 cash accounts. Monday - Friday; 9:00AM-4:00PM, half-hour paid lunch, fully on-site. An ideal candidate would have a degree in accounting and at least two years' experience in general accounting and/or bookkeeping and _advanced Excel._ Knowledge of FEZ (Fund EZ) a plus, not required. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Ensures bank reconciliations are completed in an accurate and timely manner. * Prepare accurate, financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the fiscal department. * Generates journal entries. * Prepares month end journal entries. * Corrects errors by posting and adjusting journal entries. * Prepares reports in Excel: exports from CSV files, VLOOKUP's, PivotTables and filters. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
