Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and personable bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering excellent customer service. The bartender should have strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: * Greet customers and take drink and food orders in a friendly and efficient manner * Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences * Maintain knowledge of bar menu items, specials, and promotions * Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance * Manage cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately * Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized (including glassware, garnishes, and supplies) * Monitor and manage guest behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines * Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and supply ordering as needed * Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Qualifications: * Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred * Knowledge of mixology, beer, wine, and spirits * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment * Basic math and cash-handling skills * Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for long periods of time * Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (cases of liquor, beer kegs, etc.) * Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Work Environment: * Fast-paced, customer-focused bar and restaurant setting * High energy and team-oriented atmosphere
