Brokerage Specialist, Logistics job at Gpac Houston, TX, US

Job Description

3PL/International freight forwarder in the industry, priding thenselves on their robust end to end solutions they offer to their clients, as well as reputation for excellence in the market, is seeking a Senior Brokerage Specialist!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Oversee international operations

-Coordinate air and ocean shipments, determining accurate tariff classifications and duty value for entry submission

-Partner with the operations/account management and sales teams for optimal customer satisfaction

-Present a streamlined technology solution developing a detailed analysis of customized needs in challenging areas

-Coordinate and submit Importer Security Filings (ISF)

-Invoice clients/overseas agents/vendors

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelors Degree

-Ability to work both independently and within a team

-Detailed experience and knowledge of the global logistics industry, including 3-5 years of customs brokerage

-5-7 years of experience, specifically, in 3PL/ International Freight forwarding is REQUIRED.

-High energy, with a passion for maintaining/retaining relationships with outside clients and vendors

-Self-starter with strong organization & presentation skills
