What You've Accomplished - Completion a BS or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering degree.
- Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria
- Basic communication skills including the ability to comprehend/follow directions and convey detailed technical data

Your Opportunity This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Early Career Chemical Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. You will be required to learn existing plant systems and support improvement projects and maintenance activities at a facility containing hazardous chemical processes. Major duties will include:
- Support for plant processes to maintain and/or improve operational effectiveness.
- Oversee field work related to installations, repairs, and retrofits.
- Provide guidance for the design, start up, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of plant manufacturing equipment and ancillary systems.
- Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable safety, industrial, and plant standards.
- Adhere to approved procedures and methods in support of 24/7 nuclear fuel manufacturing facility.
- Organize and execute project management tasks - capital appropriations, cost, schedule, etc. Manage pipefitter and millwright craft resources.

This opportunity is in Richland, Washington Richland is located in the Columbia River basin in southeastern Washington a few hours east of Seattle. Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
Your Total Rewards Package The range of base salary for the position is between $77,968.80 - $92,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
