We’re hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team and support a wide range of public outreach, communications, and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of public-facing events.
Represent the organization at events—welcome attendees, provide information, and gather valuable community feedback.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless cross-departmental communication.
Support event follow-up efforts, including updating contact databases, drafting summary reports, and managing data entry.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills.
Confidence speaking in front of groups and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
A friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor.
Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
A genuine passion for community engagement, civic participation, or nonprofit communications.
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is a plus—but not required.
