Executive Chef – Vegan Restaurant

Salary: $90,000–$100,000

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of a thriving, chef-driven vegan restaurant . This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is inspired by plant-based cuisine and committed to excellence in food, team leadership, and guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all culinary operations, including menu development, recipe creation, and execution of innovative, seasonal vegan dishes

• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation

• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise BOH staff while fostering a positive, respectful kitchen culture

• Manage food costs, labor, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Collaborate with ownership and management to align culinary direction with brand and business goals

• Remain calm, organized, and solutions-oriented in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment

• Strong background or genuine passion for vegan/plant-based cuisine

• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Financial acumen with experience controlling food and labor costs

• A creative mindset with the ability to execute consistently at a high level

• Commitment to hospitality, sustainability, and culinary excellence
