Job Description

Our firms are seeking an enthusiastic detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team! If you have a passion for HR, you'll thrive in this role where you will be central to supporting our employees while embracing our company culture. We support four affiliate companies and are seeking positive self-starters who can adapt in a dynamic environment. Our companies include Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA), Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA), Decisive Data Systems LLC (DDS), and Professional Services Management Corp (PSMC). This is a full-time onsite position reporting directly to the Human Resources Director.

HR Assistant Responsibilities:  You will support the Human Resources Director (HRD) and Human Resources Generalist (HRG) in a wide range of HR functions while also assisting the Recruiting Department. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in new employee onboarding process
  • Support HRD in new employee orientation planning
  • Assist with promotion of wellness program
  • Support recruiting department in various tasks
  • Generate reports from various systems of record
  • Provide support with employee separation process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Distribute compliance related items to offices
  • Research functions within current vendor software
  • Update HR related items on company intranet
  • Engage with employees to ensure a clear understanding of processes and benefits
  • Distribute monthly Broker and vendor newsletters to employees
  • Assist the HR Director in various areas; specific responsibilities are dependent on experience.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet company goals.

HR Assistant Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in various HR functions; a bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe applications.
  • A motivated and collaborative personality with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities with professionalism.
  • Strong time management skills and experience meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and software applications.
  • A solid understanding of confidentiality principles in Human Resources.
