Industrial Painter

Pay: $23–$26/hour + $2 Shift Differential
Hours: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–12:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to support production operations in a busy manufacturing environment. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for prepping, coating, and finishing industrial components in accordance with paint specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and paint specifications
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain paint pumps
• Mix and apply multi-part industrial coatings
• Prep parts and components using proper tools and techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized mix room and work area
• Perform touch-up, full-part paint, and final finishing
• Record material usage and complete required documentation
• Inspect painted components and correct defects
• Operate manlifts, cranes , and other required equipment
• Follow all PPE requirements, JSAs, and safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months–1 year manufacturing or heat exchanger experience preferred
• Ability to obtain crane and manlift certifications
• Knowledge of industrial paint practices, equipment, and applications
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and stand for long periods
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and consistent work quality
• Ability to identify defective items and resolve issues appropriately
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
