Job Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Junior Web Developer   on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team. 
• Strong communication skills. 

Key Skills:

• Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components.
• Experience with generating & reviewing software /technical documentation.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software.
• React, Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML.
• Desired: Kubernetes, NiFi.

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD + Partial Telework
