Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies. Knowing pre-natal massage is a must, as we are located next door to a birthing center. You will be responsible in providing excellent services and a serene environment. While assessing and addressing the unique needs of each client. Your expertise in anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management will be essential in delivering effective treatments that promote relaxation and healing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
• Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including pre-natal, Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, hot stones, and other modalities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes accurately in accordance with spa policies.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually improve service delivery.
• Keep the room clean and tidy before and after each session.
• Arrive at the spa with ample time before the start of each session.

Requirements

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Liability Insurance
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
• Experience in customer service with a focus on patient satisfaction.
• Must be certified in pre-natal massage
• Proficiency in various massage techniques, including pre-natal, therapeutic, Swedish, deep tissue massage, and hot stone.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to assess patients' needs accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans.
