As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for managing the billing process from claim submission through payment resolution. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure claims are submitted accurately, followed up on efficiently, and resolved in a timely manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of payer processes, and the ability to stay organized while working independently in a remote setting.
Submit accurate and timely medical claims to insurance carriers
Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments
Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid or delayed claims
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits when needed
Post payments and adjustments accurately
Maintain compliance with payer guidelines and billing regulations
Document all actions clearly within billing and EHR systems
Communicate professionally with internal teams and payers
1–3+ years of medical billing experience required
Familiarity with insurance guidelines and claim workflows
Experience using electronic billing systems and EHR platforms
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
ASC, outpatient, or revenue cycle experience is a plus
