As our workload continues to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Commercial Pipe Welder to join our team in Columbia, SC. Job Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping for commercial applications
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and weld symbols
• Cut, fit, and assemble pipe components in preparation for welding
• Utilize SMAW, GTAW, and other welding processes as required
• Ensure all welds meet company quality standards and code requirements
• Work safely and follow all PPE, site, and OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and field teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience
• Proficient in TIG, Stick, and MIG welding processes
• Ability to pass a weld test prior to employment
• Strong understanding of job site safety and safe work practices
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied field conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Combo Welder (carbon & stainless, TIG/Stick)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Familiarity with HVAC piping systems
