Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to post-operative patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries (including oncological cases).
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Managing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilizing telemetry monitoring.
- Performing charge nurse duties (per unit needs).
- Responding to call backs and on-call duties.
- Working rotating day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Telemetry experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only).
