Job Description

Job Summary: The Shuttle Driver is responsible for driving guests from and to the dealership to their designated locations. It will include greeting customers, maintaining a positive and helpful behavior throughout the customer interaction. It involves moving the customers' cars to designated parking areas in the back of the dealership. The ideal Service Shuttle Driver has an unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record, a trustworthy demeanor, ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles, and has excellent customer service skills. Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
  • Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for servicing
  • Install disposable covers and floor mats in the interior of vehicles to be serviced
  • Drives and picks guests up to and from the dealership in a timely manner.
  • Ensures guests are picked up at scheduled time.
  • Maintain Daily Shuttle log
  • Assist in the Rental/Loaner Department as needed
  • Run miscellaneous errands as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management
  • Maintains constant communication with the dispatch team.
  • Assists in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department.
  • Helps maintain a professional appearance of the sales and service departments and the courtesy van.
  • Secures the courtesy van on premises, usually inside the shop at the end of the day.
  • Assists in all areas of the Service department, as needed.
  • Must follow and ensure passengers follow all company safety policies and practices.
  • Maintains professional appearance.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
