Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard
Pay range: $18-20 an hour
Location : Site in Hacienda Heights
Employment Type :  Full-Time
Schedule : 
40+ Hours a week, Graveyard + Swing Shifts, Days TBD
Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. We are hiring for a late swing-grave shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, monitoring access, and responding to any security-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Conduct security checks and patrols within the building/premises.
  • Monitor security cameras and alarms.
  • Ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are secured.
  • Respond promptly to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
  • Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Maintain detailed records of all incidents, activities, and observations.
  • Foot patrol and vehicle patrol, vehicle will be a golf cart

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established protocols.

Requirements:

1. BSIS Guard Card IS REQUIRED
2. Baton, Taser and OC Spray is desired
3. Duty Belt and Handcuffs (1, recommended 2) are Desired
4. Vehicles may change depending on client circumstances. Golf Cart and Patrol vehicles will be used at the site. Valid and current Driver's License is necessary due to the possibility of vehicle change.
5. Previous experience in access control, security, or a related field is preferred but not required.
6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately verify identification and credentials.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
8. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during high-traffic or emergency situations.
9. Basic proficiency in using computers and access control systems/software.
10. Physical fitness and ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform occasional lifting or carrying of equipment.
11. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
