Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as a Credentialing Specialist. You will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial appointment, reappointment, credential audits, and ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations (OPPEs/FPPEs). 

 

Job Description

  • Manage the credentialing and privileging processes for all providers.
  • Conduct and maintain accurate initial and reappointment files.
  • Coordinate and document OPPEs/FPPEs in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform and monitor credentialing and background checks using MDStaff software.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the credentialing database.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of statutes and laws related to credentialing.
  • Support credentialing audits and quality assurance reviews.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience in providing credentialing or medical staff services preferred.
  • Familiarity with MDStaff or similar credentialing software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of credentialing standards, regulatory agencies, and hospital bylaws.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree- Required

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

  Pay Rate

  • $30.00 per hour
