Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and motivated Health Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will work directly with clients to support their physical, emotional, and behavioral health goals through coaching, education, and personalized health plans. You will play a key role in empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being and create sustainable lifestyle changes.

Duties

•Conduct one-on-one or group coaching sessions (in-person or virtual)
•Assess clients’ current health status, needs, and goals
•Develop personalized wellness plans focused on nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep, and habit change
•Monitor and track client progress; adjust plans as needed
•Provide motivation, accountability, and support throughout the behavior change process
•Collaborate with healthcare providers or other wellness professionals when appropriate
•Maintain accurate and confidential client records
•Educate clients on evidence-based wellness practices
•Participate in ongoing training and stay current with health and wellness trends

Requirements

•Certification as a Health Coach (e.g., NBHWC, ACE, IIN, Wellcoaches, etc.)
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse individuals
•Knowledge of behavior change techniques and motivational interviewing
•Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for virtual coaching

Nice To Haves

:•Bachelor’s degree in health education, nutrition, exercise science, psychology, or related field
•Experience in wellness coaching or health promotion
•Bilingual (optional but a plus)
